About Me |
If you need to get in touch with me.... |
Spending a year abroad, away from my home, my family and my friends isn't easy but I am hoping to make this year the best possible experience.
I have loved caring for children since I was little more than a child myself and feel in love with German in the 11th grade. I had the wonderful opportunity to send three months in Germany on an exchange in high school and have been dying to come back since I returned home. The opportunity to work as an Au Pair with the Lampert family offers a combination of the two things I love. Language and children. Over the next year I hope to improve my language skills while touching the lives of the wonderful children in my care and making life long connections to the wonderful people and culture here in Germany. To any one interested in working as an au pair, the followng sites may be useful to you. Au pair world.net _ This is the website through which I came in contact with my family. Also, for anyone interested inGermany specifically, my program is sponsored, facilitated and organized by Volunta - a division of the German Red Cross. |
